I would be happy to see sports move away from cruelty.  I don’t think anything that hurts animals can be called “sporting,”

I understand it would be difficult to place bets on puppies, but honestly if you are betting on dogs you have issues anyway.  Maybe the frolicking puppies would be good for you.
