It is such a treat for me when I meet someone in Vegas from Michigan and get to break out the Michigan map.

Ok your hand being shaped like your home state isn’t exactly the biggest deal in the world, but it works well if you are visual.  It’s one thing to say “I am from Battle Creek…on I-94 between Chicago and Detroit…” It is entirely a different matter to point to where the city is on your hand and say “I am from here!”  Heck I can trace the path of 94 across the state!

Am I easily amused? Sure.  But it is still neat.
