I love teaching.  I have had great family moments.  But among my very best moments several have been playing really well in a tourney game…….going out and laying under a tree and taking my cleats off.

I love the feel of the grass, the shade of a tree, and nothing feels better than well earned exhaustion.   These are the primary reasons I play ball in California and Oregon every chance I get (and why I was trying to retire in California and get out of this desert….but not on a teacher’s retirement pay!!).
