What has always confused me about people isn’t that we struggle with the hard things.  The difficult things that take a great deal of effort it is understandable we fall short on.  But there are aspects of humanity that are so simplistic.  So basic are these traits that they demand very little effort at all.  How can we not manage just to be kind to one another?  I hope that when my journey is over that people who knew me will think I was kind.  If that’s all there is about me that stands out then that will be more than enough.
