I like that my life has been an adventure in flexibility.  For the primary reason that it has placed me in the middle of dozens of other people that were also on a journey of personal contortion and exploration.  Artists, lesbians, gay men, poets, dodge ball players, ancient softball players, and people in transition.

I know it would have been easier to know who I was from the start (or at least by 40), but I wouldn’t trade my confusion for anything.
