I don’t need much help.  I don’t need you to be open minded, fair, bright, or caring.  But I need you to just not actively work against people you know nothing about.  I need you to stop working against public schools since neither you nor your children have ever been in one.  I need you to stop deciding what gay and trans people can and cannot do, because I’d bet the farm you don’t know any.  I need you to stop thinking in terms of who The Constitution does and does not apply to based entirely on their sexual preference and/or skin color.

I don’t need your help.  I just need you to leave me alone.
