About Doodle
My name is Hope Abbigail Nulf, and I am a special education teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am also the creator of Doodle, a character I began drawing in 1977 as a way to express myself and navigate the challenges of life. Doodle first emerged during a difficult time in my life when I struggled with bullying, isolation, and feeling different. After a particularly painful experience that led to a hospital stay, a nurse offered me the simple but powerful gift of a pad of paper and a pen. From that moment, Doodle was born. She is a creative companion who has helped me explore my hopes, fears, dreams, and the journey toward finding my own voice…
