It strikes me as odd that people, churches, and organizations have gone out of their way to make me feel less than a person when that was my natural state of mind anyway.  Were you thinking that I had any sense of self-esteem at all?  That I needed to told I was a freak or didn’t fit in?  Did you honestly not think that all of that had already been said by me to me?
